In this event, we’ll show how to print Hokusai’s ‘The Great Wave’.
Hokusai’s ‘The Great Wave’ is a multicolor woodblock print. Hokusai made the sketch and a skilled carver created the blocks used to print them. Then a printer created multiple woodblock prints.
