The Sumida Hokusai Museum is holding a special exhibition
Scholars’ Delight: The Peter Morse Collection and the Narazaki Muneshige Collection, October 12th – December 5th, 2021
Almost 100 representing Hokusai's works will be exhibited through 1 and 2 term of the exhibition period, including the two masterpieces of The Sumida Hokusai Museum Collection: the series of “Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji” and the “Scenery on Both Banks of the Sumida River” picture scroll. And a brazier made from the woodblocks for “Hawk and Cherry Blossoms” is being exhibited for the first time.
