Permanent exhibition plus Special exhibits: Depictions of Mountains by Hokusai
Special Exhibits: Depictions of Mountains by Hokusai will be held at the Permanent Exhibition Plus from May 24th (Tue) to June 12th (Sun). In the special exhibition corner, we will feature "Mountain" depicted in edehon works such as "Sketches by Hokusai". In addition, three nishiki-e works from the highly requested series of the Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji, including "Under the Waves off Kanagawa", also known as 'Great Wave', will be on view for a limited time. "Scenery of Both Banks of the Sumida River" with a total length of about 7 m continues to be open to the public and here is also a highlight.
