Name Change of Permanent Exhibition Room

The name of AURORA (Permanent Exhibition Room) on the 4th floor of our museum was changed to "Education Room－Discover Hokusai－".

Because ukiyo-e prints are very sensitive to heat and light, the original works are exhibited for no more than 30 days a year in order to keep them away from deterioration. Therefore, in the "Education Room－Discover Hokusai－", we have made it possible to view Hokusai's works at any time by utilizing full-size, high-definition replicas of Hokusai's masterpieces and touch panel monitors.
