Admission Fee
Visitors with disabilities are admitted to AURORA (Permanent Exhibition Room) for free of charge.
Admission is free for:
Visitors with physical disability certificate, mental disability certificate (Ai no techo), rehabilitation certificate, health and welfare certificate for persons with mental disorders, or atomic-bomb victims certificate and their attendants (up to one attendant per person with the above certificate. Please present the certificate at the entrance.)
For other exhibitions and special exhibitions, they are admitted with a discounted ticket. Please see each exhibition page for more details.
Parking
One parking space is available for visitors with disabilities. (No reservation is required.)
Wheelchairs, baby carriages, canes, and walking assist carts
You may bring these devices into the museum. Wheelchairs and baby carriages are available for borrowing at the reception on the first floor. (Free) However, the use of baby carriages may be limited during busy hours.
Assistance dogs
Assistance dogs (guide dogs, service dogs, or hearing dogs) may enter the museum accompanied by their owner.
Accessible Restroom
We have an accessible restroom at the entrance of the first floor. A baby changing bed is also available.
Nursing room and multi-purpose table
We have a nursing room with a multi-purpose table on the first basement floor. There is also a baby bed available.
We do not have a water heater for nursing. If you require hot water, please ask for it at the reception on the first floor.
